I'm surprised how bright the flashlight is and its overall quality. It seems very well made and has a good weight to it. I'm able to focus or diffuse the light as needed. So far, the battery has held up great and I haven't had any issues with it.
Review for FandyFire S1 Tactical Flashlight with Holster
After testing the FandyFire S1 Tactical Flashlight, I was impressed by its bright output of 1200 lumens, which lit up my yard with ease. This brightness is fantastic for security or outdoor activities. The metal body feels tough and built to last under hard use. The included holster is a great bonus for carrying it on a belt, which makes it user-friendly for law enforcement or camping. Its rechargeable feature is also very reliable and saves money on batteries. It’s compact enough to fit in my pocket, yet large enough to ensure a good grip. The sleek black finish gives it a professional appearance. You can really see the durability in its water-resistant design and shockproof casing. The value here is solid given the number of lumens and the included accessories. The adjustable beam adds to its versatility, making it feel like top-tier tactical gear without breaking the bank. The battery life is impressive for a light that bright. I like the tactical tail switch for quick activation, providing a dependable light source when emergencies pop up. Its dimensions make it easy to handle, even with gloves on. Overall, this is a sturdy flashlight that anyone in need of a reliable, bright light would appreciate. The best feature for me is that it uses a standard 18650 rechargeable and replaceable battery, so you don’t have to throw it away if the battery stops charging.
I recommend this item and would purchase again.
I hadn't heard of this brand before, and frankly, my expectations weren't really high. But I figured its a USB C rechargeable flashlight with a high lumen claim, so its probably worth having.
Wow, am I impressed with the thoughtful design features. On the light itself, at first I couldn't find the USB port, and I questioned whether I'd been hasty in reading the listing and had ordered one that must swap batteries. Especially since the battery it came with was separate and had to be installed. Nope, you partially unscrew the body and the port is revealed. When you close it back its behind a lubricated O-ring and protected from water! Nice, and you don't have to peal back one of those silicone covers that comes out, gets damaged, or is hard to open or stow.
But probably the most impressive part is the belt holster. It has a clip style belt loop so you don't need to open the belt to add or remove the holster. It is a little harder to get off than on because it has a catch lip that makes it very secure. But extra useful is that both ends of the holster have a hole in them so you can shine the light through one, and press the button through the other. And the holder rotates 360 degrees. So you can carry it attached at the hip while in use and have both hands free! Now I'm looking forward to a night hike!
Overall it feels like this delivers a lot of functionality and useful features for the price. And I'll keep my eyes open for other products from this brand, because somebody behind the product seems to really care about how it works.
This little LED flashlight is well made of heavy aluminium and quality glass optics. It comes with a sturdy shine-through holster, which is a nice addition for some people who need hands free operation.
The description claims the LED emits 1200 lumens, but I would estimate it's 750 tops. Still, not bad for a light this size. I love that the battery is replaceable, making it possible to carry extras to swap out in the field.
However, this light is missing a few features I typically look for. There is no way to zoom the beam- it's a fixed focus. There's also no side-mounted floodlight, or a red/blue strobe. No magnetic mount, no UV light.
It's a decent basic light for EDC, especially if you need the holster, but you can get more value for
I have had a LOT of flashlights over time so I think I know what is good and not by now. This FandyFire S1 ranks up there pretty high on my list. At first inspection, its nothing crazy better than most lights like it. Its about the same size and shape and MANY in this category.
Once I spent some time with it some quality items have been noticed. This this is plenty bright, there are some that are a bit brighter but not many in this style and cost much more. Its all metal material so the durability should be good. The battery life is what I expected and is plenty long for this style. It comes with a really solid well thought out holster but I usually just put these size flashlights in my pocket.
Now a couple things that stood out even more. I like how the USB C charging is built in, no more removing the battery to charge it. That USB C port is neatly tucked away and not exposed to grime until you twist the top part to expose it, I like that a lot. Next, I simply like that the power button is on the end of it. Some of the flashlights I have gotten lately have it on the side it those are a pain to find in the pitch dark. The last standout may seem silly but I love that the power options are simply 1 press for on another to choose the brightness and then press again for off. Not having to cycle through the stupid flashing/strobe mode makes a big difference to me. The strobe is there by doing a double press thought I am sure I'll never use it. This is going to be the flashlight I use the most during my camping trips!
