Very nice flashlight but is smaller than I expected. The smallness is a distinct advantage as it is less weight to carry and who doesn't need that! It has two settings with one setting giving off so strong of a light that I saw spots after having it on for just a second. I just happened to be looking at it when I switched it on. The second setting is just a regular beam. I would say this is the strongest light coming out of a flashlight that I have ever experienced. I could also feel heat coming out of the end when I turned it on, and this was just for a second. I never have felt heat coming out of a flashlight before. I guess this is serious business when you hit the 1000 lumen mark. It does come with a holster which would come in handy if you are using this for work out in the field or for managing your affairs around the home (spotting a skunk, searching for night crawlers, scaring someone away who is trying to creep up on your home, etc.). It is a nice green color which blends in nicely with the terrain at my home, but the disadvantage of that is you could lose it in the brush easily, hence the value of keeping it in its holster when not in use. It is a nice weight and there is nothing low quality or cheap about it. I can't comment on durability yet as I have not had it for very long Super Strong Little Flash Light! I have used this outside at night and it casts quite an expanse of light so you can see what is ahead of you from all angles. Very powerful!

Fandy Police Flashlight

Uses a 18650 (1865) 3.7V Li-ion replaceable battery

This flashlight has a removable/replaceable battery that allows for spares to be used quickly if one battery depletes. As with most flashlights, the negative (-) end of the battery goes toward the base and the positive (+) toward the light bulb. When charging in the flashlight with the provided USB-C cable, a small LED will glow red until fully charged when it turns green. The USB-C port in the flashlight is covered by the Head/LED Housing that will unscrew exposing the port. O-Rings on both the USB-C port cover and the battery tail cap cover at the base seal the internal parts from dirt and water.

The carry belt case completely covers the flashlight, but holes in both ends allow the light to shine out and the button to be pushed. The belt clip swivels through 360° for the possibility of hands free operation.

The light has 2 Brightnesses but it always turns on first to brightest. Another single click dims the light and a 3rd click turns it off. To use the flash mode, a double click when it's off begins the strobe effect.

Slight negatives:

*you always have to cycle through low beam to get to off and it always starts on high beam.

*when in flashing mode, a single push changes to bright mode and not to "Off".

*Even though the head/LED Cover rotates, there is no focusing or control of the light beam. It's pretty much one setting.

5 stars - great size and brightness for around the house or the glove box of your car. It's very bright but doesn't take up a lot of space. Spare batteries and chargers are available.

My initial impressions of this FandyFire Tactical Flashlight, model WF-501BX, were generally favorable. It’s got great build specs, including a compact, impact-resistant 6061 aluminum alloy frame. And a powerful 1000LM spotlight beam that can penetrate deep into the darkness. However, the price tag seemed rather steep at $35.99. Until I came to appreciate the value of the holster. That’s right, this product is as much about the holster in my opinion as it is about the flashlight. In fact, the two go together like peanut butter and jelly. Sure, you can use the flashlight by itself. But if you do, and never use the holster, the $35.99 will indeed prove steep.

I for one wasn’t sure I would ever use the holster. Until I put it into service. The build quality is incredible. It has a firm body that retains its shape, even under pressure. And yet it’s designed so that the flashlight remains fully functional once inside. With openings for the control button at the back and LED lamp in the front. Aside from the outstanding build, the other feature that gives the holster the “WOW” factor is the clip on the back. It’s beefy, yet flexible, with a truly unique design. For starters, it’s easy to clip to my belt or gear strap, with retaining features like bends and angles that keep it from dislodging once installed. And to ensure the LED lamp is always pointing where I want the light, the clip has full 360° rotation, with detents (n=20) every 18° to provide an array of soft, but secure set points.

Now, it's not lost on me that the flashlight has a limited number of lighting options; two steady white lights, HIGH and MED, and one flashing white light strobe. Is this a problem, as some might suggest? Not if you accept what it means to be TACTICAL. The fact is, this is NOT an EDC flashlight. As such, you won’t find, nor should you expect to find, all the bells and whistles that are often found in EDC flashlights. Instead, this flashlight is all about simplicity. Fast, agile, no-nonsense. Perfect for TACTICAL applications, like military, law enforcement, first responders, etc. It should also prove to be highly effective for outdoor adventures. Especially those that are technical in nature. Indeed, having the torch clipped to my belt or gear will be the ultimate in hands-free lighting. Far superior than a standard pocket clip.

Overall, this is a solid product that combines a durable, high-output flashlight with an equally durable, high-performance holster. It’s a purpose-built package, made for professionals and enthusiasts who appreciate high-performance simplicity. At the time of order, the price was competitively set at $35.99. As someone who has hung around the flashlight sub on reddit, I have my share of relatively bright lights with, frequently, relatively complicated click based interfaces.

This is a relatively bright light with a very simple click based interface. Single click High/ Low / Off. Click, click, click. That's it. Double click to activate the strobe mode (br considerate, it's bright!)

It has a nice weight for its size but I do not feel any way encumbered even when holding it with two fingers.

So what was the twist? The

The machining quality is excellent. The USB charge port his completely hidden behind a twist-up gasketed front enclosure. Neat! I like not having to worry about a few mm of silicone keeping the world out of my ports.

The side is machine knurled to give you a better grip. And the gasketed battery end cap screws off and on smoothly.

The battery included is a FandyFire branded 18650 that claims 2600mah 3.7v. Can't say whether they are manufacturing batteries on the side or it's just a white label, but the latter seems more likely. So far it is behaving very well and holding it's charge significantly longer than I personally need it, even if I take it to the woods for several days.

It has a nice weight for its size, but I don't feel at all encumbered even holding it with two fingers. Don't expect to be using this flashlight for defense of any kind. This isn't that kind of build! The wrist lanyard is conveniently already attached through the end cap. Nice.

Finally, the twist is the the attached "duty" holster. I'm not wearing a duty belt, but this holster will fit on pretty much any belt. Anx it has a hole on each end so you can twist the entire thing and aim / control the light so you can use it hands free. Very neat. As a former firefighter, yeah this would have been cool attached somewhere. You need something easy in bunker gear.

Overall, I can't knock the light because it didn't make any extraordinary claims. For the cost you're getting in the territory of some better known brands, but with a sale and or a coupon, I don't regret it.

Really bright light in small package. Not sure on battery life since still new, but easy charging port on light itself. Nice holster, fits belt well. Easy to swivel and with hole on top dont even need to remove from holster if need to be hands free.
